What are credits?
USD balance on your account, tracked as integer microcents so it never drifts. Every model turn debits exactly what it cost. Grants from the owner and Stripe top-ups land in the same wallet.
Do I need my own API keys?
No — that's the point. The gateway routes through its own provider keys. You sign in, you get models, you spend credits. No provider accounts, no key juggling.
How does Ares connect to my account?
One click. Inside the app: Settings → Ares Account → Sign in with doingteam. Your browser opens, you approve, and the app receives its own scoped token — your password never touches the app.
Who gets access?
Access is granted by the owner, per person. Sign up, and your account sits at the gate until it's approved — no bots, no tourists.
